Solomys ponceleti mitochondrial genome sequencing.

The goal of this study was to sequence the complete mitochondrial genome of the giant rat species, Solomys ponceleti. This is the first complete mitochondrial description of any species within the Genus Solomys, and will be used to enhance our understanding of Australo-Papuan rodent evolution.
