Empire State Building, the world's most iconic building, simply known for once being the world's tallest building for 40 years, from 1931 to 1971 when it was surpassed by the World Trade Center North Tower. It is standing at 1,250 feet tall for the roof and 1,454 feet tall for the overall height with its radio-cast TV antenna.
