Data, code, and supp video for "A novel apparatus for studying fish cognition in the wild"

We introduce a novel cognitive apparatus designed for fish in their natural habitats. Our results show that this new apparatus is effective for assessing learning abilities across different fish species and understanding decision-making dynamics in the context of a learnt skill. This study provides a starting point to test different aspects of fish cognition under natural conditions and can pave the way for examining <i>in-situ</i> cognitive variation between species and populations exposed to different ecological conditions.Here, we provide the raw data used in the study, the code for analyses, and a supplementary video demonstrating how the foraging board and apparatus can be used.
