This dataset contains the test instances used in the numerical experiment section of the paper "Scheduling Unrelated Parallel Batch Processing Machines Under Time-of-Use Electricity Prices".Folder "time slot length = 30 mins" and "time slot length = 1 min" contains the test instances with the two different time slot lengths described in the paper.In each folder, there are five subfolders named "TestInstance1", "TestInstance2",..., and "TestInstance5", which correspond to the five instances we generated for each parameter combination.Each Excel file is a test instance named in the format "N-Job num_M-Machine num_S-the upper bound of job size_P-the upper bound of job processing time_electricity price fluctuation frequency". For example: "N-200_M-4_S-10_P-20_Italy.xlsx" is a test instance that contains 200 jobs, 4 machines, the upper bound of job size is 10, the upper bound of job processing time is 20, and the electricity price fluctuation frequency is high (the electricity price in Italy).
