Flood risk assessment due to Tanganyika Lake level rise in Bujumbura, Burundi (2024-05-07)

The CEMS Risk and Recovery Standard has been activated by the DG ECHO, requesting the provision of flood mapping for Bujumbura with a special emphasis on the impact of Lake Tanganyika level rise on critical infrastructure such as on critical infrastructures such as REGIDESO, the port, and the airport and the pump station. This activation is following the RRM flex activation EMSN190 Flood risk assessment in Bujumbura, Burundi.
