Operando muSR measurement on Na diffusion in NaCrO2 half cell

In order to see Na diffusion in Na-ion battery materials, we here propose an operando muSR experiment on NaCrO2-vs-Na half-cell. Here, NaCrO2 is one of the best candidates for the cathode material in a Na-ion battery, particularly due to the absence of expensive Co. However, the intrinsic diffusion coefficient of Na ions in NaxCrO2, which governs a charge/discharge performance of the battery, is still not clarified. Our proposed experiment will provide basic information how to understand Na diffusion in materials and lead to the control of Na diffusion in battery materials.
