资源简介:
During research flight 09 (RF09) of the airborne measurement campaign Boundary layer and Aerosol and Cloud Study in the Arctic, based on aircraft and T-Bird Measurements (BACSAM) II, meteorological data (temperature, 3 wind components, air pressure) were measured at high temporal resolution (100 Hz) onboard the towed body T-Bird. The T-Bird is introduced in detail in Juranyi et al., 2025, details concerning RF09 can be found in Simon et al., 2025 (in prep). RF09 took place on 25 April 2024 and started and ended in Longyearbyen, Svalbard. Data are only reported for the times the T-Bird was winched out and flying below the aircraft. Temperatures are measured by an open wire Pt100 in an unheated Rosemount housing. An Aventech 5-hole-probe at the tip of the T-Bird facilitates fast turbulence measurements. Full accuracy of the wind measurements is only achieved during straight flight level sections. We refer to Hartmann et al. (2018, doi:10.5194/amt-11-4567-2018) for further information on the data processing and calibration.
