Document the Floods is a citizen science crowdsourcing initiative, which exists to better understand today’s changing flood patterns. This involves collecting photos and observations that collectively tell the story about the frequency and extent of flooding from either heavy rainfall or high tides. The data gathered from this survey can be used to inform planning and decision-making about resilience to climate change and sea-level rise in low-lying coastal communities as well as inform the public and raise awareness.
