There are numerous acid-fast mycobacteria in the foci of necrosis (Ziehl-Neelsen staining + in many samples). Additionally, secondary fungal infection (Grocott +) was confirmed. The whole confirms the diagnosis of bilateral tuberculous pneumonia. In addition, foci of atelectasis, edema, congestion, pneumoconiosis, thrombus and myeloid embolism in individual vessels.
