Number of gas pipelines in North America 2024, by country and status

As of 2024, there was a total of 254 operational pipelines – comprising different segments – across North America. The United States had the most gas pipelines in operation in the continent. This was unsurprising, given that the U.S. was also the largest natural gas producer amongst these three countries.
