Table 1, which forms part of the chapter <i>ANTS OF THE BRAZILIAN PAMPA: INSIGHTS INTO DIVERSITY, DISTRIBUTION AND CONSERVATION</i> in the forthcoming volume <i>Brazilian Myrmecology: Exploring the World’s Richest Ant Fauna</i>, lists all ant species recorded for the Brazilian Pampa, indicating the ecological system in which each species occurs and the corresponding data source. Ecological systems are classified according to vegetation attributes and their relationships with elevation, slope and soil type, following Hasenack et al. (2023). Species distributions are assigned to biogeographic regions sensu Morrone (2014) using occurrence records compiled from AntMaps (Janicki et al., 2016).
