Outbursts of radio-quiet AGN

Recent Xray observations of the two Seyfert galaxies, GSN 069 and NGC 2617,establish outbursts of radioquiet AGNs as an unexplored discovery space for AGNphysics with an enormous potential to learn. We propose three joint XMMNewton /NuSTAR observations (start, maximum and 1/e) of the next suited AGN outburstwhereas an Xray/optical/UV light curve will be established with short Swiftobservations. True AGN outbursts will allow us to trace accretion physics, Xrayspectral complexity connected with dramatic emissionline changes and possiblyelusive stellar tidal disruption events probing an even more extreme accretionregime.
