Russian aboveground live vegetation carbon for the year 2020 and 2021

Russia's vegetation ecosystems have long been an important carbon sink, making a significant contribution to the global carbon cycle. However, the frequent severe droughts and large-scale wildfires in recent years may have significantly weakened their carbon sink function. This dataset, produced based on low-frequency passive microwave remote sensing (L-VOD) data, provides estimates of the distribution of above-ground live woody vegetation carbon stocks in Russia for 2020-2021. The dataset aims to support in-depth research on the impacts of the 2021 drought and wildfire disturbances on above-ground live woody vegetation carbon stocks in Russia. The aboveground live vegetation carbon data for Russia is stored in Tiff format, with the file name "AGC_yyyy.tiff," where "yyyy" represents the year and "AGC" stands for above-ground vegetation carbon stock.
