Example datasets used by W. Maddison in "PhyIN: Trimming alignments by phylogenetic incompatibilities among neighbouring sites", submitted to PeerJ 2024

These datasets were used to test alignment trimming methods, including PhyIN. The data is from Ultraconserved Elements (UCE) sequence capture methods. The data are from 5 studies cited in included README files. Data files included are the original untrimmed alignments as well as alignments trimmed in various ways.NOTE: This is a preliminary version of these datasets, for use during review of the paper describing PhyIN. If the review process results in changes, these datasets may be superseded by a new version.
