The new Homogenized Precipitation Analysis HOMPRA is focussing on the period 1951-2005 and consists of data from ca. 5,340 stations over europe (with at least 90% complete years of precipitation values). Method for break-point detection: approach of Caussinus and Mestre (Caussinus, Mestre 2004) ; Data correction: multiple linear regression (Mestre 2003).
