Bacterial bioindicators growth curves

Bacterial isolates and communities were grown in liquid media in the presence of a suite of different chemical pollutants, in 4 independent replicates. Growth was recorded by measuring optical density at 600nm (OD600) once per hour for 72hrs. Growth in the presence of chemicals was compared to growth under control conditions (DMSO - which the chemicals are dissolved in) to determine the impacts of the chemicals.This dataset provides the raw growth measurements from these experiments.isolate-growth-curves.csv - these are the data for individual strains of bacteria. File includes fields for the time (in hours), OD600, details of the bacterial strain's taxonomy and providence, details of the chemicals, and details of location within 96-well plates.community-growth-curves.csv - these are the data for whole communities of bacteria. Fields are as above, but without taxonomic details as these are mixed communities of bacteria obtained from environmental samples.
