Microbiota associated with mosquitoes (larvae and pupae) and their breeding waters, Coari, Brazil. Bacterial communities associated with Anopheles darlingi immatures stages and their breeding sites in the Brazilian Amazon

In this study, the composition and diversity of the bacterial communities associated with Anopheles darlingi and their breeding sites were investigated. Water, larvae, and pupae, were collected at two different geographical points in the Coari municipality, Brazilian Amazon. Anopheles darlingi, larvae and pupae, and water samples were DNA extracted and 16S rRNA gene were amplified and sequenced by MiSeq. The obtained reads were analyzed and compared between the collection sites.
