The effect of recombinant Serratia protease D on the proliferation of IBRV

Bacteria can use proteases to influence viral replication, but the specific mechanisms of these interactions remain underexplored, particularly in the context of Serratia marcescens proteases and infectious bovine rhinotracheitis virus (IBRV). In this study, we explored the effects of recombinant serralysin-like protease D (rSPD) on IBRV infection in Madin-Darby bovine kidney (MDBK) cells.
