REGEN_V1-2019_1951-2016 global mean and extreme frequency and intensity

The period 1951-2016 is split into two (1951-1983 and 1984-2016) and for each period the following variables are calculated using the daily REGEN V1-2019 global data.1. timeseries of monthly totals2. daily average3. monthly average4. annual average 5. wet day frequency6. daily intensity7. 99th, 99.5th, 99.75th and 99.9th percentiles8. average of days >= the above percentiles9. number of days with precip >= the above percentiles10. average of days in the non-overlapping bins defined by the above percentiles.11. number of days with precip within the bins defined by the above percentiles.Please refer to the HTML python notebook attached for the details of the calculation.
