Elemental and isotopic data collected aboard the R/V Endeavor cruise EN586 in the northern Gulf of Mexico from 2016-07-25 and 2016-08-14

This dataset contains elemental and isotopic data collected aboard the R/V Endeavor cruise EN586 in the northern Gulf of Mexico from 2016-07-25 and 2016-08-14. Particle and zooplankton samples were collected during R/V Endeavor cruise EN586 using a CTD-rosette and a MOCNESS. The objectives were to characterize the physical and chemical properties in the water column at ECOGIG seep and other study sites. Samples were dried, then pelletized in Sn (tin) capsules for continuous flow isotope ratio mass spectrometry. The elemental and isotopic composition of particles and zooplankton was measured by continuous-flow isotope ratio mass spectrometry using a CE NC2500 elemental analyzer interfaced to a Micromass Optima and Isoprime 100 IRMS systems. The dataset also contains latitude, longitude, depth, and date of sample collection.
