Transcriptome sequencing and gene expression profiling of water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica Forrsk.) roots under salt stress

To comprehend the water spinach response to salinity stress, transcriptome sequencing was conducted on roots from two water spinach cultivars: the salt-tolerant Baigeng (BG) and the salt-sensitive Meifeng 1 (MF) exposed to salt stress for 6 hours and 12 hours.
