Digital Landscape Model Rhineland-Palatinate 50 (DLM50)

Digital landscape models (DLM) describe the landscape and the relief of the earth's surface in the form of topographical objects. In the DLM, the landscape is systematically structured and described (specialized objects, attributes and value types). The DLM50 is derived from the basic DLM by means of automated model generalization (content generalization) and by simplifying geometric structures (cartographic generalization). The content of the DLM50 is defined in the ATKIS object type catalog for the DLM50 (ATKIS-OK 50).
