Genetic factors play an important role in intracranial aneurysm (IA). Here, we conducted the largest multi-ancestry IA genome-wide association study (GWAS) meta-analysis to date, including 1,774,335 participants (20,325 cases and 1,754,010 controls) from five ancestral populations, representing a 48% increase in sample size over the previous largest GWAS.
