Datasets for genetic evidence for the origin of Aedes aegypti, the yellow fever mosquito, in the southwestern Indian Ocean

The two datasets uploaded here are online supplements for Soghigian et al. "Genetic evidence for the origin of Aedes aegypti, the yellow fever mosquito, in the southwestern Indian Ocean." The nexus file is a nucleotide alignment containing sequence data for the Stegomyia subgenus of Aedes, as well as outgroups, and also contains partition information used during analyses. The Excel file contains raw microsatellite calls for new populations. Consult Soghigian et al. 2020 for additional information.
