Genetic correlations among multiple heat tolerance traits and other key life history traits

Methodological Information: In this paper, we measure four heat tolerance traits and five other fitness-related traits in Acropora digitifera corals in Palau, including wild colonies and bred corals with a known pedigree. We then quantify the genetic variance of these traits, and the genetic correlations among them. We finally run a series of 30-40 year long evolutionary simulations to explore how selection on each one of the four heat tolerance traits influences coral fitness.
