Popularity of text marketing among consumers in the U.S. 2023, by industry

During a May 2022 survey carried out in the United States, 55 percent of responding consumers stated that they were most likely to opt into text messages from healthcare providers. Roughly 46 percent said they would opt into text marketing from e-commerce platforms or retailers.
