Bar Exam QA is a dataset for legal information retrieval and question answering. It contains the MBE subset of historical bar exam questions with gold passage annotations. The dataset is created by linking multiple-choice questions with supportive passages from primary sources like caselaw and secondary sources such as online resources, textbooks, etc., with gold passages annotated by a law student simulating a legal research workflow.
