LAD (Large-scale Attribute Dataset)

We propose a large-scale attribute dataset (LAD) that contains 78,017 images across 5 supercategories and 230 classes. The total number of images in LAD surpasses the combined total of the four most prevalent attribute datasets, namely AwA, CUB, aP/aY, and SUN. A total of 359 attributes covering visual, semantic, and subjective dimensions are defined and annotated at the instance level. We utilized this dataset to organize an international zero-shot learning competition under the AI Challenger program, with over 110 teams participating in the contest.
