Assessment of cross-border cooperation in the EU. Personal cross-border activities.<br>Topics: awareness of EU funded cross-border cooperation activities in the own region; frequency of going to a selected country for the following reasons: visit family, visit friends, use public services, shopping, work or business purposes, leisure activities; discomfort about having a citizen of a selected country as: manager, work colleague, neighbour, family member; trust in other people; attitude towards living near the border to a selected country; significance of the following problems regarding the cooperation between the own and a selected country: legal or administrative differences, accessibility, language differences, social and economic differences, cultural differences.

Demography: age; sex; nationality; frequency of going to other countries; age at end of education; occupation; professional position; own a mobile phone and fixed (landline) phone; household composition and household size.

Additionally coded was: respondent ID; country; type of phone line; nation group; weighting factor.
