Assessing transcriptional changes in Aedes albopictus following a heatwave

RNAseq libraries from: pools of 10 larvae (L2) and 4 abdomens of individual mosquitoes (A) of a laboratory-adapted population derived from eggs collected in the city of Crema (Italy) in 2017. Adults were collected at 6 or 9 days after emergence and maintenance under sugar feeding, As6 and As9, respectively. Both adults and larvae were also exposed to a heatwave and collected immediately after exposure, these samples are called L2HW and AHW, respectively. Total RNA was processed by BGI Hong Kong, including quality control and TruSeq-Stranded mRNA library preparation. Sequencing was conducted on a DNBSEQ platform with paired-end reads (2 x100 bp) to a depth of 30 million reads per library. Corresponding author: Pr.
