Data underlying the article „Between Synchrony and Turbulence: Intricate Hierarchies of Coexistence Patterns“

This data set contains the data underlying the analysis in the article linked below. The data depicted in the figures in the article are found in the directory „paper_figures“, subdivided into subdirectories for the different figures. In the case of some of the figures based on computer simulations, the figure data do not show the immediate spatiotemporal output of a simulation, but is generated by further processing of such spatiotemporal data. In these cases, the direct simulation output is found in a separate directory outside of „paper_figures“. These additional directories are named according to the parameter values of the performed simulation, respectively. The connection of such a directory to the figure(s) in which they are used can be found by comparing parameter values. (This method of dividing the data was chosen because several figures were ultimately derived from the same underlying simulations.) The data set also contains the source code used to generate the numerical data.
