The common apricot (Prunus armeniaca L.) is a kind of stone fruit tree which was widely cultivated in the world. Apricot also plays an important ecological and economic role in the economic development and ecological protection of the poor areas in the north of China. To facilitate and expand the use of P. armeniaca for breeding and its genetic improvement, we firstly assembled a whole-genome sequence of P.armeniaca.
