Transcriptomic analysis of Medicago truncatula roots treated with an auxin biosynthesis inhibitor, L-kynurenine

To understand the molecular mechanisms underlying L-kynurenine (an auxin biosynthesis inhibitor)-induced root elongation in Medicago truncatula, a time course of transcriptome analysis was performed. RNA-seq data were generated from using RNAs isolated from roots of M. truncatula seedlings treated with 10 µM of L-kynurenine for 1,4, 12, and 48 hours and mock-treated control plants, repectively.
