Expert opinion survey on the national impacts of COVID-19 pandemic on five countries in South Asia

This dataset is a result of an online survey conducted by Michigan State University's South Asia Partnership group in May 2020. The objective of this survey was to obtain expert opinion and perspectives on government interventions, food security situation, social protection programs, health care provision, economic measures, and foreign assistance processes used to respond to the current pandemic; understand the current impacts of the Coronavirus pandemic in the survey countries; inform policy recommendations and prompt development interventions to address constraints and implement relief program. The survey focused on five countries in the South Asia region – Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
