The gut microbiota of chickens has important physiological significance for host health and production performance, mainly manifested in the role of host nutrient absorption, immune system development regulation, and immune barrier. This study focuses on Nixi chickens and conducts 16S rRNA sequencing on their fecal samples to further understand the complex gut microbiota and its quantity, species, and structure.
