To better understand the relationship of susceptibility and resistance to infection by Meloidogyne enterolobii, the sequencing of the transcriptome of the species Psidium guajava L. and Psidium friedrichstalianium was carried out in control and inoculated samples using the RNA-seq methodology, and then the assembly of sequences. 60,836 contigs with N50 of 786 bp were obtained. Transcripts were annotated via Genomes Kyoto (KEGG) and Gene Ontology (GO). Differential expression analyzes revealed 445 and 388 differentially expressed genes in P. friedrichstalianium and P. guajava L., respectively. The transcriptome data and analysis presented here establish the basis for further research on biotic stress in these cultivars.
