Cambodia (2006): Event Impact Survey: Mobile Video Units for Reproductive Health

As a means to disseminate educational messages about reproductive health (RH), PSI/Cambodia established the Mobile Video Units (MVU), an intervention which is specifically adapted to reach vulnerable communities located in remote areas, with low access to mass media. The MVU consists of a four-wheel-drive vehicle outfitted with audiovisual equipment powered by a generator. The system can be easily set up and dismantled in rural and remote environments. This research examines the success of the reproductive health MVU program. Obtaining information on audience reception and satisfaction during and immediately after the event will enable PSI/Cambodia's communication and field office departments to finely tune events so that appeal is maximized.
