Latin America: Mercado Libre checkouts during the COVID-19 outbreak 2020

More than half (56 percent) of people in Latin America who shopped on online marketplace Mercado Libre from February 24 to March 22, 2020, during the COVID-19 outbreak, bought 1.2 items on average and only once. Moreover, 24 percent of Mercado Libre users shopped on the platform at least three times in the period.
