资源简介:

The Climate Vulnerability Index is a composite dataset developed as part of the Cuyahoga County Climate Action Plan to assess community-level vulnerability to climate change impacts. It combines environmental, health, and social indicators to identify areas—at the census tract level—where populations may be more susceptible to the effects of extreme heat, flooding, poor air quality, and other climate-related stressors. The index was created using a data-driven approach that integrates existing datasets on exposure, sensitivity, and adaptive capacity, ultimately helping to inform equitable climate adaptation planning. Vintage: 2023 Data Sources: Cuyahoga County Planning Commission, U.S. Census Bureau, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and other regional and federal datasets. Coverage: Cuyahoga County, Ohio – Census Tracts Update Frequency: Not regularly updated Last Update: December, 2023
