Replication package for "Peripheral Monetary Sovereignty and the Contracting Fiscal–Labour Elasticity in Brazil: An MMT Assessment, 2012–2025"

Reproducibility package accompanying the manuscript "Peripheral Monetary Sovereignty and the Contracting Fiscal–Labour Elasticity in Brazil: An MMT Assessment, 2012–2025", submitted to the Review of Keynesian Economics (Edward Elgar Publishing) on 24 May 2026. The package contains: • The consolidated monthly dataset of Banco Central do Brasil (BCB SGS series 5793, 4189, 3697, 4513) and IBGE (SIDRA 6381, 1737) covering March 2012 to December 2025, n = 166 observations, in CSV and Excel formats. • The full Python pipeline implementing ADF and KPSS stationarity tests, Johansen cointegration testing (trace and maximum-eigenvalue), VECM estimation with macroeconomic controls, Granger temporal-precedence tests at multiple lags, Bayesian regression with weakly informative normal priors, block bootstrap with 10,000 resamples, Bai-Perron sequential structural-break tests, and Kalman time-varying parameter estimation. • The canonical numerical output in JSON. • The two figures of the manuscript regenerated by a deterministic script. All inputs are public administrative statistics. No proprietary or paywalled data source is required to reproduce the results. Tested on Python 3.13 with numpy 2.3, pandas 2.3, scipy 1.16, statsmodels 0.14 and matplotlib 3.10.
