Full-Length Genome characterization of a monkeypox case in Northeast Italy

Here we report the release of a complete genome sequence of monkeypox virus isolated in North-Est Italy with high coverage (GenBank ON644344). On May 25th, a 33 years old male patient was sampled for oropharyngeal swab ,multiple skin lesions swabs and Blood EDTA after high fever and an unexplained skin eruptions.
