Decoding the Role of Adaptive Hints and the Moderating Role of Mindsets in Concept Map Learning

This study examines the impact of adaptive hints and learner mindsets on concept map learning. Experiment 1 used a between-subjects design with three conditions: non-adaptive hints, cognitive-adaptive hints, and integrative-adaptive hints. Experiment 2 used a 2 (cognitive-adaptive vs. integrative-adaptive hints) × 2 (growth vs. fixed mindsets) design.
