资源简介:
The aim of this study was to discover the differences of fecal microbiome between hyperandrogenic PCOS group from the control PCOS group. Methods: We collected 28 fecal samples from PCOS patients with hyperandrogenism (n=14) and PCOS (n=14). Subsequently, fecal microbiomes were characterized and microbial markers of hyperandrogenic PCOS patients were identified. Results: The richness and diversity of gut microbiota in the hyperandrogenic PCOS group were lower than those in the control group. Bifidobacterium, Enterobacteriaceae_unclassified, Streptococcus, Saccharimonadaceae, Enterococcus and Eubacterium_nodatum_group were the characteristic genera of the PCOS patients with hyperandrogenism. Conclusions: This study confirms previous findings and contributes additional evidence of the potential for gut microbial biomarkers to diagnosis hyperandrogenic PCOS subtype.
