dLOC as Data: Project Documentation

Drawing on expertise based at two university libraries, Florida International University and the University of Florida, as well as a range of Digital Library of the Caribbean community partners, this project set out to make digital newspaper content more visible and actionable for computational analysis. Beyond this more concrete goal, the project aimed to build capacity for technical implementation and community engagement around a “collections as data” approach for Caribbean studies. The documentation provided in this report details implementation and lessons learned.
