现有的青藏高原多年冻土分布图多聚焦于中国境内区域,缺乏对境外部分的系统覆盖。本数据集整合了327个钻孔的多年冻土年平均地温(Mean Annual Ground Temperature, MAGT)观测数据(主要采集时间为2001-2023年),采用支持向量回归(Support Vector Regression, SVR)方法进行空间插值预测,并以MAGT < 0°C作为多年冻土的判别依据,绘制了覆盖完整自然地理单元的青藏高原多年冻土分布图。结果显示,多年冻土分布面积约为138万平方公里(不含冰川与湖泊区域),占青藏高原总面积的44.8%。该数据集可为青藏高原多年冻土变化及其气候、环境和生态影响研究提供关键基础数据支撑。
Most existing permafrost distribution maps of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau primarily focus on the Chinese territory, with no systematic coverage of the plateau’s areas outside China. This dataset integrates 327 borehole observations of permafrost Mean Annual Ground Temperature (MAGT), which were primarily collected between 2001 and 2023. Spatial interpolation prediction was performed using the Support Vector Regression (SVR) method, and a permafrost distribution map of the entire Qinghai-Tibet Plateau covering all complete natural geographic units was developed, with the criterion of MAGT < 0°C used to identify permafrost. The results indicate that the total permafrost distribution area is approximately 1.38 million square kilometers (excluding glacial and lake areas), accounting for 44.8% of the total area of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. This dataset can provide critical foundational data support for research on permafrost changes in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and their associated climatic, environmental, and ecological impacts.
