A compact 972.26 nm frequency stabilized seeder laser is built by using Pound-Drever-Hall frequency stabilization technology and extra-cavity frequency doubling technology, which is needed for ocean hyperspectral exploration applications and spectral line width is less than 100 fm. The center frequency drift of 30 min continuous operation is less than 25 MHz, and the frequency stability is better than 4 × 10-8 at room temperature. The frequency stabilized laser can be used as a seed laser for 486.13 nm wavelength blue hyperspectral detection radar light source after using PPLN crystal for extra-cavity frequency doubling.
