This paper defines and implements Consent Tokens—cryptographically verifiable permissions for emergent artificial intelligences to elevate or execute sensitive actions within bounded ethical frameworks.Unlike standard API keys or OAuth tokens, Consent Tokens (CTs) embed human intent, validity windows, attestation proofs, and duress protection.We present a fully buildable architecture using current open-source cryptography, hardware key storage, and auditable policy engines (OPA/Cedar).
