ORTI outperforms other databases in identifying modulated TFs in gene expression data.

TF enrichment analysis was performed on microarray data where a single TF was modified (AR [14], SREBF1 [16], PDX1 [13], E2F [15]), or for selected TFs in early adipogenesis [17]; p-values and Bonferroni corrected p-values are shown. ‘—‘ indicates that the TF was not found in the database. The parameters of the conducted hypergeometric tests are provided in Table B of S3 File.
