The fertility rate of women aged between 15 and 19 years old in Sub-Saharan Africa declined to 98.72 births per one thousand women in 2022. Therefore, 2022 marks the lowest fertility rate of women during the observed period. Adolescent fertility rate measures the number of births per 1,000 women between 15 to 19 years.
