Supporting data for SQG-based Reconstruction of Mesoscale-to-Submesoscale Dynamics: Applicability of Different Methods in the Core Agulhas System Matlab Codes to reconstruct the subsurface structures (Codes without Figure_*.m) and plot the figures (Figure_*.m) in the manuscript. The partial model and reconstruction output files are archived in the folder data. The whole model and reconstruction output files used for this study exceed the capacities of the Zenodo repository but can be made available upon request.
